Memphis Zoo is well known for it’s work in conservation and animal care. Don’t miss this fun and educational episode!

Courtney Janney

I’ve been in the zoological field for 20 years. I knew I always wanted to work with animals, but went from thinking I’d be a veterinarian to realizing I loved working closely with animals and building a relationship with them. After finishing my four year degree I completed an internship in Texas at a zoo called Fossil Rim. After that I worked at Walt Disney World and Smithsonian’s National Zoo over the next 10 years before coming to Memphis. I have been here since 2014 – I live in Collierville with my husband, two daughters and three dogs.
