Elton is the CEO and co-founder of ILUMIN Education, a college admissions counseling firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Elton has worked with teens for almost 20 years and has helped students reach their college goals for over 11 years.
Elton is not only a recognized college admissions expert, having been featured by USNews and Public Radio International, but adept at helping students become more confident leaders — he is passionate about helping students live to their full potential. What undergirds his college advisory work is that he was formerly a church planter and youth pastor (for over 12 years) and is licensed as a marketplace minister with the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Elton is a member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling and of the Independent Educational Consultants Association. The ILUMIN Education team has helped students gain admission to every top-50 university including every Ivy League institution. In his spare time, he loves traveling with his wife, exploring culture through food and is an avid tennis fan.
