Rachel Destree
I grew up in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and was living there when I started my freshman year of high school at NorthStar Academy – which also happened to be the first year that NorthStar opened! I went on to graduate from Colorado State University, and began work as a communications specialist, and now as a language learning coach. My husband, Josh, and I got married in 2007 and spent several years living overseas. We now live in Colorado, with our 6-year-old son, Enoch, and enjoy hiking, birding, drinking tea, and boardgames.
