I’m a high school drop-out prevention teacher turned online curriculum writer who loves to grow sunflowers because they’ll thrive in any environment, which is important because I move every few years. We are an active duty military family that loves to hike, forage, paint and swim. In education, I’m most passionate about empowering teenagers to use their voices. At home, I’m pretty passionate about friendship with my neighbors.
