Lydia Novak

For six years I went to a private school, but for seventh grade I switched to a homeschooling co-op due to bullying and numerous other problems with the school. During my time as a homeschooler, I also took two classes with a different online school (not NSA.) However, for high school I wanted to make sure everything was fully accredited, and I wanted to do theatre and travel with my family. Going to a brick-and-mortar school would make it hard to go to all the theatre rehearsals and travel around the country with my family like we planned to do. So, we found NSA! I’m still taking three courses with my other online school, but I’m taking the rest with NSA.

I am happy for you Lydia, getting featured on Forbes and this podcast. And it’s great to have you as a friend, and I am happy about your success. It’s only your first year, yet you’ve made so much progress, like having a newly created job on Stucco. Best of wishes Lydia, “The universe is big, it’s vast and complicated, and ridiculous and sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles.”

Oh! This makes me so happy for Lydia; I had no idea she was so successful or even that she had a business. As a young entrepreneur myself, I found this podcast to be very encouraging. It reminded me that teens can be just as successful as adults if they work hard for it. We may not know what we’re doing all the time, but at least we are pursuing something we love. After listening to this podcast, I went to read the article about Lydia on Forbes. This was my favorite quote: “The main thing I would say is that you do not need to know what your life will be like when you “grow up” to do something important now.” I can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the next several years, Lydia!
