Meet the speaker for our Spring 2021 Spiritual Emphasis Event, Mr. Sammy Barton! Sammy has a passion for preaching God’s Word and seeing God work in the lives of students. Sammy believes that students can handle a lot more than our culture gives them credit for, so hear as he explains his love for meeting them where they are and pouring God’s Word into them at such a pivotal age.
Sammy Barton
Sammy Barton is the Director of Student Ministries at NorthCreek Church in Walnut Creek, California. Sammy has been serving students and families at NorthCreek for over a decade: first as a jr. high DG leader, then as the Assistant Director of Jr. High Ministries, then as Director of Jr. High Ministries and currently as Director of Student Ministries, primarily overseeing Ignite. He is in the process of completing his Masters of Divinity at The Master’s Seminary. Sammy and his wife Kori have been married since 2014 and have two children. Sammy enjoys playing softball and growing giant pumpkins in his backyard. He is passionate about proclaiming big truths about God to students and watching the Word change their lives.
