Laura was able to attend NorthStar and complete her high school education while training intensively for her professional performing career. Laura Willis
Currently, I am a professional dancer with faith-based touring company Ballet 5:8 in Chicago. I joined their company at age 18 as a Trainee, and was promoted through the ranks to Company Artist over the years. We perform ballets inspired by topics of faith and life, and our newest ballet is inspired by a C.S. Lewis novel. I’ve helped for several years in the Marketing & Media department of the company, and served as Interim Communications Director while I was pregnant with my son. I also teach dance several times a week, and enjoy hobbies like hiking and photography. As if that wasn’t enough to add to the the mix, my sister-in-law and I also plan & coordinate weddings a few times a year. I got married a few years ago and have a one-year-old baby boy, who keeps me quite busy! I graduated from NorthStar Academy in 2015.
