Today we welcome Jackson to The NorthStar Narrative! Jackson graduated from NSA two years ago and currently attends The University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. Jackson grew up in Africa and has traveled to many different countries in his life. As his passion for international culture grew, Jackson was able to attend NSA and receive a well-rounded education rooted in biblical truth. Listen as Jackson shares tips for navigating online school and how it helped him successfully transition to college during a pandemic.  Jackson’s desire to make a difference in the world is genuine and contagious and we are so grateful to be a part of his story!

Jackson

I come from a family of six where I am the oldest of four siblings. My siblings are age 17, 14, 10. I was born in Amman, Jordan, and grew up in Ethiopia until age 12. Then, my family moved to Cairo, Egypt and we were there four years before moving the US in 2018. I attended NSA for my junior and senior year in high-school. I now attend the University of Memphis and am in my sophomore year. I am double-majoring in International Studies and Non-Profit Development and Administration as well as minoring in French. Some of my favorite hobbies are listening to music, traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures, playing sports, being active outside, reading, and hanging out with friends.
