Bethany Walker

I attended Bowling Green State University in northern Ohio and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and Spanish Education. I taught HS in the high school where I graduated from for 5 years before moving to Virginia to marry my husband of 22 years. I got a masters in TESOL from the University of Findlay and later a second masters in Curriculum and Instruction to become a reading specialist teaching in K-6 schools in Northern Virginia. After my son was born, our family moved overseas to serve internationally. I became a teacher and director of a small international school that served expatriates while my husband pastored an international school. After serving for 11 years overseas, my husband and our two children returned to the US and I began working for NorthStar first as a teacher and then as the curriculum director. I love to go for walks, hike with my family, play board games and card games and sit outside and chat with my family over a meal.
