Katherine Clark has a special relationship with NorthStar Academy. She attended as a student during her 11th and 12th-grade years in high school, and then returned in 2018 to teach with us! Katherine currently teaches Social Studies, and has even written a course that we recently started offering! Hear the heartwarming story of her experience as a missionary kid and teacher in Chad, Africa, and how her experiences there have given her tools to work with students all over the globe through NorthStar! Katherine Clark
I grew up in Chad, central Africa, as a missionary kid. I attended NorthStar in 11th and 12 grades, before returning to western Massachusetts for college. I studied history and education, and graduated in 2017. After graduation, I returned to Chad for part of a school year to teach for a missionary family. When I returned in 2018, I got married, and started working at NorthStar. My husband and I live with my sister in Lowell, MA, which is a great city for history! I enjoy baking, cooking, cookie decorating, most forms of crafting. I feel that one of the gifts God has given me is the gift of hospitality, as I love inviting people to our home, and most especially feeding everyone!
