John Heaton
My wife and I have four kids, 2 boys and 2 girls, ranging from K to 7th grade. We also have a dog, the first one for our family. My wife and I were overseas with our kids for a total of about 10 years in two different countries in Asia, and now we’ve been back in the USA for a little over 2 years. I’m a teacher and an author. I’ve written eight books: One series of books is for grades 3-6 or cat lovers of all ages written from the perspective of a snooty house cat, Princess the Cat (written under my full name), and the other series is an international espionage series (written under J.A. Heaton). As a teacher, besides teaching at Northstar right now, I also do author to classroom visits online, which I call Author to Classroom Direct.
