She grew up as a missionary kid (MK) in Colombia and offers advice for students that may be MK’s as well. She has invaluable advice for raising kids and pointing them to Christ. Susan Carreño grew up in Bogota, Colombia as a missionary kid. She came to the states after high school to attend college, and received degrees in Elementary Education and Learning Behavior Disorders. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have four children. She has been with NorthStar since 2016 and currently teaches Spanish. Susan loves being outdoors, going to the theater, and spending time with her family.
