NorthStar Academy alumna Melissa Malone has always been passionate about advocating for others. This played a heavy role in her decision to become a lawyer. The rigorous courses and time management skills she learned at NSA helped to prepare her for law school. The flexibility of online courses allowed Melissa to participate in a mock trial program, giving her the scholarship opportunity to compete at the college level. Hear how Melissa trusted God through these seasons of life and how He continued to be faithful in times of uncertainty.

- befriend someone who is being bullied
- do yard work for a neighbor who needs it
- help an elderly person with something.
These are all examples of being an example of Jesus’s love to those around you.

20:04 – She was recruited at the college level to continue to compete in Mock Trial. She was given a scholarship for it.

After graduating from NSA in 2013, Melissa went on to attend Furman University and now Wake Forest University on a full ride scholarship.
